Dear Colleagues,
With joyful hearts, the community of the Trainer Candidate Community Path (TCCP) recommend that Marina Smerling be given the opportunity to serve under the title Certified Trainer for CNVC. Marina has journeyed through the certification path with passion, integrity and vision.
We are celebrating many qualities that Marina brings to our global CNVC community. We value how Marina lives NVC principles in her personal and professional life. Marina has been involved in the core teams of the Nonviolent Leadership for Social Justice retreats as well as being a Bay NVC collaborative trainer for several years. She has years of experience working with individuals and groups in intense situations and is known for her willingness and ability to stay with and guide difficult conversations. Whether in the role of trainer, mediator, organizer or friend, Marina’s living of the NVC process is consistently authentic and inspiring. Marina is deeply committed to a world where we share power and learn from one another.
We have learned much on this journey with Marina and look forward to many years ahead of working side by side. It is an honor to introduce her to our global community where we’re confident she will find kindred souls and lifelong companions on the quest to create a world where every person matters and every person has all they need to thrive.
In celebration,
The Trainer Candidate Community Path members
Kathleen Macferran, Susanna Warren (advocates/assessors)
Mika Maniwa and Roxy Manning (advocates/assessors in training)
